Bugsy
Bugsy is an FIV kitty that came to us in September of 2013 through one of the local rescue groups. His owner was moving in with his girlfriend, she already had a cat, so he couldn't bring Bugsy due to his FIV status.
FIV kitties can live long lives if kept healthy and studies have shown they can live with non FIV kitties in stable households without spreading the virus.
Bugsy's owner had an appointment to euthanize him, but really didn't want to because Bugsy's a great guy! The owner too, for finding another way!

Bugsy has recently been diagnosed with diabetes and was on insulin for a short time. We are currently able to control his diabetes through diet with Purina DM.
