Oz is a beautiful Siamese that came to us through a local shelter in August of 2012, he was a very frightened 8 month old boy.  Oz was trapped by the person feeding him and if the shelter had no room, he was going to just be released back outside again.  When he came he was very sick with a URI, herpes, diarrhea, missing one eye with nystagmus of the other, cauliflower ears and his breathing was loud snorts.  Oz had been sick so long that his breathing passages were scarred, so he will always breath funny.  It took 5 months for him to even begin to relax and about a year before anyone could pet him.  As time goes by he comes more and more out of his shell. Although he is not fond of strangers, Oz is the first in line for affection and he even comes looking for it now.  He likes to come and pat your hand so you'll pet him and he even snuggles a bit.  Oz is a very happy boy!
