Scoot came to us through a local rescue group.  Her family was moving and could not take her with them, they did not want to euthanize her, but Scoot's options were quite limited as she is a double rear leg amputee.  We were told that Scoot was born with her hind legs on "backwards", so her owners had them removed at the hock so she could scoot around.  She does scoot around quite well and loves to be scratched with a back scratcher and brushed with a slicker brush!  She is very playful with a string and loves to romp around in her tunnel and with her toys.
